EconoCrafts, a leading supplier of arts and crafts products for camps, schools, after-school programs, and more, is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to assist with content creation, social media management, and copywriting. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about marketing and eager to gain experience working with a dynamic e-commerce company that promotes creativity and hands-on learning. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to develop engaging content for our social media platforms, assist with blog and web copy, and contribute to promotional campaigns to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. Please note: This position is unpaid and completely remote , unless you need our equipment in Newark, New Jersey. Otherwise, you must simply have your own equipment like a laptop, microphone, webcam, and appropriate wifi abilities. International candidates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities: – Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) – Create engaging content for social media posts, stories, and reels to highlight EconoCrafts products and DIY projects – Collaborate on blog posts, email campaigns, and product descriptions – Support the marketing team in brainstorming and planning creative campaigns – Monitor social media trends and analytics to improve engagement and reach – Write compelling and SEO-friendly copy for marketing materials, including product pages and promotional content – Assist in tracking and reporting the performance of marketing initiatives Requirements: – Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt to different tones and audiences – Familiarity with major social media platforms and trends (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest) – Passion for arts, crafts, and DIY projects is a plus – Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks – Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices – Experience with content creation tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus but not required – Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills Preferred Skills: – Familiarity with social media analytics tools and scheduling platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) – Basic understanding of SEO and email marketing best practices – Graphic design or photography skills are a plus but not required What You’ll Gain: – Hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation – Opportunities to build a portfolio of social media campaigns and copywriting – Mentorship from experienced marketing professionals – Insight into e-commerce marketing and customer engagement – Exposure to creative arts and crafts product promotion
