Curvaceous Behavior is a 501(c)(3) organization based in Charlotte, NC, focused on empowering and educating individuals through self-love and wellness. The organization’s mission is to awaken Queens to live a life of peace, balance, abundance, and confidence inside and out. Curvaceous Behavior hosts mentorship programs for young girls, college students, and professional women, along with events like the Prom Project, Networking Events, and Dress for Success. Role Description This is a remote internship role at Curvaceous Behavior. The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks such as assisting in mentorship programs, event coordination, and social media management. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects that align with the organization’s mission and vision. Qualifications Event coordination, Social Media Management, and Mentorship skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and remotely Passion for promoting self-love, empowerment, and wellness Organizational skills and attention to detail Interest in women’s empowerment and advocacy Pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Women’s Studies, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Nonprofit, Art,) We’re Looking For Candidates Who: Are comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, social media outreach, and in-person visits as needed to local high school for prom project info table. Are creative, confident, and motivated to achieve weekly and monthly goals set during onboarding. Have a strong interest in marketing, fashion, and nonprofit outreach. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Show initiative, work well independently, and are eager to learn. Have a basic understanding of marketing and creating creative content. We are looking for candidates who have an interest for fashion and styling. We are looking for candidates who have the mindset of a leader, who is able to time management and consistency work ethic. Interns will meet with the Curvaceous Behavior Team/ Executive Director two times a month for weekly check-in on progress with roles.
