The Content team is responsible for acquiring television content for the DIRECTV Satellite, U-verse and DIRECTV Stream video platforms and partners with other internal organizations to deliver a competitive content line-up for the DIRECTV platforms. Depending on your interests and area of study, you’ll get the chance to work with one of our teams (Content Strategy & Development, Content Contracts & Compliance, Content & Programming and Content Product Development) on projects that help drive the future of DIRECTV. Wherever you may land, you will get the chance to put your education and skills to the test and see real world effects! In this role, you may work on: Content Strategy & Development: Conduct in depth analyses on various data points including benchmarking, research, and summarize/explain findings; Create enhanced dashboards; Cross-functional organizational support; Prepare and deliver presentations on findings. Content Contracts & Compliance: Support launch of new database software; Analyze data sets and conduct quality audits; Assist with data migration; Review, read, and analyze contracts; Conduct detailed research and analysis; Prepare high-level summaries of findings & recommendations. Content & Programming: Conduct various in-depth analyses focused on channel, marketing, and competition; General project management; Cross-functional organizational support; Third Party Authentication Reporting Audit; Support various projects including tracking and summarization. Content Product Development: Deep dive into Excel automation, roadmaps and channel analyses; Presentation deck refresh and creation; Project Management; Cross-functional organizational support; Verbal presentations to various groups within DIRECTV; Streamline reporting criteria. Majors/Concentrations we’re looking for: Open to all majors Media & Entertainment focus preferred Management/Leadership tracks Skills and Experience: High energy/enthusiastic candidates who possess a proactive and driven personality, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving goals and surpassing expectations. Strong interest in entertainment (business side). Demonstrated success in a cross functional environment. Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity. Strong data analytics acumen. Microsoft Suite (Excel, PPT). Well-organized and able to prioritize. Skillful in written and verbal communication. Self-motivated and able to hold oneself accountable to tasks – willingness to learn and adapt. This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States. 10 week internship program. 6/2/25 – 8/8/25 or 6/16/25 – 8/22/25. Position requires full US work authorization now and in the future. This position can earn $19 – $20 per hour, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at DIRECTV offers.
